CAIPIRINHA

Caipirinha is Brazil's national cocktail, made with cachaça, sugar and lime. Cachaça is Brazil's most common distilled alcoholic beverage. While both rum and cachaça are made from sugarcane-derived products, most rum is made from molasses. Specifically with cachaça, the alcohol results from the fermentation of sugarcane juice that is afterwards distilled.



RECIPE

Typical ingredients are:1 lemon (or lime failing)cut into pieces .
Cachaça
Sugar (brown or white, according to taste)
Crushed ice
PreparationCut the lemon or lime into pieces and crush them a little into the bowl to extract juice.
Add two tablespoons of sugar and crushed ice.
Add the cachaça,according to the quantity you want ( always in moderation) .
To finish, stir a bit, put a straw, and leave the lime wedges inside.
